OBITUARY Colin Powell, U.S. military leader and first Black Secretary of state, dies
Colin Powell, the son of Jamaican immigrant parents who climbed the ladder to become the first Black U.S. secretary of state and top military officer died on Monday at the age of 84. His reputation got tainted in 2003 when his specious intelligence to the United Nations to make the case for war with Iraq.
Powell, a four-star general who last held public office in 2005, passed away on Monday, due to the Covid 19 complications. His family posted this statement on Facebook. He was 84.
Mr Powell remembered as one of the greatest leaders and a very good family man in the US history.
